Stefan Goldmann

Stefan Goldmann (born 1978) is a German-Bulgarian DJ and composer of electronic music. His works, most of which are conceptually planned, are derived from the aesthetic and technical parameters of techno and vinyl culture, such as sample, loop, edit, grid rhythm, track.〔Rob Young: “Stefan Goldmann – Close to the edit”, WIRE Magazine, #314, April 2010〕 He has released records since 2001 through the labels Perlon, Innervisions, Cocoon and others before founding his own imprint, Macro, in 2007.〔Rob Young: “Stefan Goldmann – Close to the edit”, WIRE Magazine, #314, April 2010〕 Goldmann is also closely associated with Berlin's Berghain /Panorama Bar club, where he performs regularly and for which he writes a bi-monthly column.〔(Berghain flyer archive )〕
